Each egg is backed with a photo of Izzy and represents our celebration of the season: Joy! The colors were chosen to coordinate with Marie’s (whatever) collection of brightly-hued papers. Lots of fun going through photos and finding ones that would complement those of the papers—fortunately, our Izzy likes PINK a lot so not a difficult search to locate them. The basket is woven (actually done, not digital) with thinly sliced strands of paper alternating pink and teal. The grass shape is Cricut cut with AI makers adding some visual diversity and a bit of actual texture in the grassy fluff on both the basket and grass. Embossing on the sun, flowers, and grass was thoughtfully done with appropriate thematic images and made the flat surfaces more interesting and alive. The shimmering sun (M thought of it AND shimmered it:) really generates that warm and glowing feeling associated with the arrival of Spring!
Come watch the video, sit, and have a chat with P and M about this lovely little layout:
Ten of the twelve A WALK IN THE PARK WITH TESSA set by TESSATELIER for THOUGHTFULSTUDIO were used to create our two-page most eggs-celent spread. The variations in color were done in various ways (some digitally and others using markers/sprays). As part of Thoughtful Studio’s design team, we have worked closely with Marie & have modified the sheets with her permission.
