The June Makers Collaboration theme, Old Is New, presents Martha-SeekingforArt using three art items from Artcurious by MNW in the wonderful #OldIsNew YouTube Mixed Media Swap & Make Hop on June 17, 2023.
The Challenge
Martha starts with the artsy swap items from Myriam Wulf, her Friday Findings from thrifting, and takes on her inspiration from the life and work of Joseph Cornell (“Utopia Parkway“).
The Art
Two of Myriam’s whimsical and colorful characters begin Martha’s assemblage. She doesn’t just frame the art, she makes it interactive, lights it, gives it dimension, and offers us an incredible work of art.
