Old is New with Michelle Mixed Media
The June Makers Collaboration theme, Old Is New, presents Michelle Mixed Media using three art items from Quirky Queens Journals in the wonderful #OldIsNew YouTube Mixed Media Swap & Make Hop on June 17, 2023.
The Challenge
Kirsten sent Michelle a 1920’s fashion book, some gel prints, Vintage style postcards, lace, all in a fun pocket!
The Art
Michelle ran with the project, creating an incredible altered book. The cover has a steampunk 3-D celestial cover featuring a woman’s head. Inside, she added pages back to the book with delish decorating, including using the lace to print one page!
