The June Makers Collaboration theme, Old Is New, presents The Messy Palette AU using three art items from TextureJunkies in the wonderful #OldIsNew YouTube Mixed Media Swap & Make Hop on June 17, 2023.
The Challenge
Diane begins her work with a tag and two sizes of Cheran’s Tree and Mountain stencils.
The Art
Di builds out a latching folio with a door as the cover. Details really make this mixed media feast for the senses and include antique dictionary entries on the inside. The back cover may be even more intricate than the front. This is destined to go inside one of her journal projects.
